Study Abroad – Exchange opportunities for GGS students

GGS offers a number of exciting international study opportunities. These opportunities are designed to expand your horizon in the truest sense and to complement your studies at GGS. MBA students can receive academic credit for their international studies as a Personal Focus Module toward their GGS degree. In general, all students can receive ECTS credits through participation in our exchange programmes.

Currently, you can take advantage of study-abroad opportunities at one of the following partner schools:

Wits Business School (ZA)

Leading in South Africa in both MBA programmes and Executive Education is the Wits Business School in Johannesburg. GGS MBA students can choose individual modules and participate in the annual SADC Study Tour for 16 days in March and November. The study tour takes participants to South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University (USA)

GGS students can attend the International Summer Institute at Bentley (ISIB) for a special price of $ 2,600 instead of $ 3,600 (at least 5 GGS students). The ISIB consists of 4 workshops / seminars, in which they work together with international students on the current topic of globalization in terms of management, marketing, social media and financial market. In addition to lectures the week-long module "Financial Markets" takes place in the one-of-a-kind Trading Room in collaboration with the New York Stock Exchange, the module involves company visits, sightseeing in Boston, and a weekend in New York City.

The course fee includes accommodation on the classic Bentley New England campus and full board, as well as the entire sightseeing program with visits to Boston and Broadway in New York.

Kelley School of Business at Indiana University (USA)

GGS MBA students can join the Kelley Direct Program for the Second-Year Kelley Connect Week. MBA students from across the USA work in teams to apply their knowledge in a case competition - an impactful intercultural experience for our students held on the impressive Bloomington campus. University of South Florida - St. Petersburg, FL (USA)

The course takes place over three weekends on campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. The time between the weekends can be used for networking and sightseeing in Florida.

College of Management Mahidol University Bangkok (TH)

All GGS students as well as members of the Alumni Association are eligible to take part in the one-week executive seminar "Managing in Asia" at the College of Management at Mahidol University in Bangkok. The program is offered to all partner universities of Mahidol University and takes place in Bangkok and Chiang Rai. An intercultural programme with company visits and sightseeing round out the week in Thailand.

Peking University HSBC Business School (CHN)

GGS students from all master's programmes and Alumni Association members can enroll in one of the China Experience Seminars at the Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS). In addition to lecture sessions, company visits and cultural activities complete the programme. Leeds University Business School (UK)

MBA students from GGS may take part in selected modules of the EMBA programme at the Leeds Business School. Students travel to Great Britain and attend multi-day courses at the renowned Leeds University. Further information is available here.

Peter The Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (RUS)

GGS students can participate at the Saint-Petersburg Business and Enterpreneurship Summer School which consists of three parts: International Business Analysis, Global Entrepreneurship, International Strategic Management. 

The module Global Entrepreneurship is appropiate escpecially for M.Sc. students interested in this topic and who want to spend some summer days in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
